The year burst into brilliance in April with the launch of our Modular Max Series (MDX). A dual powerhouse as a high bay and floodlight, the MDX redefined industrial lighting standards with its stunning 70,000 lumens and an L70 rating of 230,000 hours at 149°F, and the MDX quickly set a new benchmark for industrial lighting. Not long after, we unveiled our revolutionary Slip-Fit junction box, a solution with C1D2 and Harsh Location certifications, equipped with a built-in photocell sensor capable of thriving in temperatures from -49°F to 149°F. This is a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and functionality.
But 2024 wasn’t just about products—it was about recognition, too. The year opened with our High Bay Hot (HBH) Series, earning the world’s first UL V-Mark, showcasing a staggering 95.9% lumen maintenance at 176°F over 10,000 hours. This incredible achievement was soon followed by our MDX Series capturing the prestigious Red Dot Award for Lighting Design in May, a resounding testament to our cutting-edge design and craftsmanship. By the end of the year, a constellation of our lights—including the MDH, BLK2, BLM, and RND—joined the RDX in the ranks of DLC-listed products, reinforcing our commitment to industry-leading innovation.
Our lights illuminated not just workplaces but pivotal global projects. The EP Petroecuador Refinery relied on Red Sky Lighting to power critical maintenance operations in Ecuador. Meanwhile, our Red Sky by SUPRA partnership in Mexico, forged with SUPRA Desarrollos Tecnológicos, expanded our manufacturing capabilities and cemented our footprint in Mexico. Back home, we welcomed 17 new representatives across the U.S., bringing our dedication to reliability and innovation to even more customers and industries.
Enhancing the customer experience took center stage this year by introducing new services on our website. Tools like the ROI calculator, utility rebate finder, and lighting design service were added to empower clients with the resources and information needed to make confident, well-informed decisions. Operational excellence has always been a cornerstone of our success, and this year, we enhanced our logistics to deliver products faster and more cost-effectively than ever. These improvements reflect our ongoing promise to prioritize our customers’ needs and build trust through dependable service.
One of the year’s most exciting moments was our first-ever International Partners Event, a vibrant gathering of partners from Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Mexico, and Latin America. The event was designed to celebrate the success of these partnerships and facilitate discussions on upcoming projects. Centered around learning workshops and family-friendly activities, it became a platform for collaboration, innovation, and camaraderie.
Our team also grew stronger in 2024. We hired a new Production Manager, added another Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast, and brought on a National Business Development Manager, further strengthening our capacity to serve customers and expand our reach.
As we bid farewell to 2024, our eyes are already fixed on the future. With two new products scheduled for launch next year, we’re more determined than ever to continue leading industries around the globe.
